Mustard is a Christian mission movement all about connecting secondary students with Jesus, and with the help of local churches and other ministries we do this in two ways:
Mustard Lunchtime groups are Christian communities within high schools. They create an opportunity for students to do life alongside one another, to explore what it means to follow Jesus as a student, to disciple one another, and to spend time with God together.
Lunchtime Groups generally meet weekly and we are always on the look out for pastorally minded followers of Christ to place in each of these communities.
If you are a secondary student who is passionate about Jesus, how about getting involved in your school's group or getting a new group up and running?
Mustard Live Events are sessions or events run for students groups of varying sizes that look at Jesus and his teaching through a specific topic. We use a mix of media, activities and reflection techniques to communicate the Gospel in a way that resonate with the students.
Mustard hopes to see Jesus transform students, empowering them to transform their schools and their world for God’s glory. Mustard believes that when you encounter Jesus, you can’t help but be transformed. We‘re excited to see transformation happen in the lives of each student, as they decide to follow Jesus. We’re also excited to see Jesus empower students to see their school as place to do mission and to bring about his transformation in the community. What an exciting prospect!
